Dumbrummy is the McCoy national pastime. It's a card
game that requires very little skill (but some) and a whole bunch of
luck to win (a lot). The game was introduced to us by Kija Hardy
(Karin's sister). The game as played by the McCoy clan is
kinder, gentler, more forgiving version of the game that Kija
plays. ... We call it the West Coast rules. All
McCoy family members and relatives usually get roped into playing at
least once. Some get addicted and some run for their
lives. We began playing Dumbrummy in 1999 or
2000. Mom started keeping scores mid 2000. The score
sheets have become a sort of history of our family gatherings.
Below are the statistics for the past three years of Dumbrummy.
There's something for everyone .... so let the bragging begin.
